Gregory W. MacPherson has twenty years of professional computing experience as a software developer and network security consultant.Some of his clients include Bank of America, Cisco, and IBM.Mr. MacPherson also performs computer security audits and has been involved with the computer security underground since 1994. Mr. MacPherson frequently presents on computer security related topics, and conducts training sessions in both the public and private sectors. He is the author of several articles, presentations, and white papers on computer security topics.

Gregory MacPherson grew up in New York City. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and was awarded a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Clemson University. Mr. MacPherson worked as a software developer in Research Triangle Park and Raleigh, North Carolina for six years. In 1991 he relocated to California and continued working as an independent security consultant for companies in Silicon Valley.
